Feb. update

Well. We have been in Portland for almost a month which is hard to believe. When we got here we stayed with a friend for a few weeks while we gathered ourselves. Suzie was an angel to let us crash her house with an almost 3 year old and a newborn! If you know Kirk you know that he doesn't do anything halfway so he has immersed himself in his new job (weareparliament.com) which he's loving! I spent those first couple weeks studying the Portland map and driving the kids all over the city to check out different neighborhoods. This is a big city! We finally settled last weekend in the west hills, a gorgeous part of town with not a bad commute for Kirk. We are in an apartment for the time being, with some of our stuff still in storage. We've already had an offer on our house which we're sorting out now...will keep you updated. We hope to buy a house here by the summer. We have found so many family friendly things to do here and we are loving the beautiful rivers, lakes, hiking trails, ect. It really is a great city. I posted some more pics on my Facebook page so check that out if you do the Facebook thing. Over all we are doing good. We miss so many people in Nashville, but we are are focusing on the MANY blessings God is showering us with in this season. Here are a few pics of us here, and one from our last day in Nashville.
